Mikkeller Bangkok is Thailand's first dedicated craft beer bar and the Danish gypsy-brewer Mikkeller's first outpost in Asia, tucked down a quiet residential soi off Ekkamai Road (Sukhumvit Soi 63). It occupies a beautifully refurbished old Thai house from the 1950s, pairing a bright, stylish interior with clean modern wooden furniture and a distinctly Nordic, elegant feel. The heart of the bar is its 30 rotating taps, which pour Mikkeller's own experimental brews alongside a curated rotation of European and American craft breweries, backed by a large bottle selection and a bottle shop in the back for on-site drinking or takeaway. A full kitchen turns out high-quality bar snacks and full meals, from sandwiches, cold cuts, pickles, burgers, fries and sausages to pizza, plus special food-and-beer pairing menus and regular garden barbecue nights. One of its signature features is the lush tropical garden, where guests can relax on comfortable chairs and bean-bag seating around low tables amid rich greenery. The crowd is a friendly mix of beer-tourists drawn by the Mikkeller name and Bangkok's local craft-beer enthusiasts, and the bar even hosts a monthly running club that loops around the Ekkamai area. It was named Best Beer Bar 2023 at BK Magazine's B.A.D. Awards, cementing its reputation as a must-visit for anyone serious about beer in Bangkok. Open seven days a week, the whole experience can be enjoyed inside the airy bar or out in the garden.

Bar Sathorn is an elegant, story-driven cocktail lounge set inside The House on Sathorn, a neoclassical mansion built in 1889 that anchors the W Bangkok complex on North Sathorn Road. The heritage building has lived many lives, having served as the private residence of nobleman Luang Sathorn Rajayukta, then the luxurious Hotel Royal under Italian proprietress Madame Adele Staro (1923-1926), and Thailand's first Soviet Embassy from 1948 to 1999, before AvroKO's restoration reopened it as a dining and drinking destination. Formerly known as The Bar at The House on Sathorn, the venue trades on that layered past: dark teak wood panelling, Corinthian plasterwork columns, coffered ceilings, plush leather seating and gilded, emerald-toned rooms create a refined, residential atmosphere more like a grand private home than a public bar. Led by Milan-born bar manager Marco Dognini, the menu of roughly 16 signature cocktails is structured as a narrative divided into four eras of the mansion's history, each drink paying homage to the building's story while championing distinctively Thai ingredients, sustainability and cross-cultural exchange. Standout serves include the Bangkok Brunch (pad krapow-infused tequila, Thai basil and salted tomato water), the Reinvented Bullshot served hot with tom kha broth as a nod to the Soviet years, and an ultra-premium page of Louis XIII cognac cocktails. Sustainability runs through the program, with herbs and produce grown on W Bangkok's organic rooftop farm. The bar debuted at No. 48 on Asia's 50 Best Bars in 2025 (its first-ever listing) and climbed to No. 17 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026, where it also won the Nikka Highest Climber Award. Smart-casual and reservation-friendly, it draws cocktail enthusiasts, date-night couples and well-heeled locals and hotel guests, with a relaxed vinyl DJ set on Sundays.

Recently renovated, it merges two former terraces into one relaxed, beach-club-style rooftop wrapped around a swimming pool with loungers and panoramic skyline and river views. The vibe is modern and urban yet laid-back, shifting from mellow sunset drinks to livelier late-night socializing. The kitchen, led by Chef Christos, serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine and global bar bites alongside an extensive list of handcrafted, Mediterranean-inspired cocktails. Entertainment runs from live DJ sets to fire shows, djembe performances and occasional pool parties. Dress code is casual, making it an easy, unpretentious rooftop option. It's roughly a 10-minute walk from BTS Ratchathewi, Siam or Chidlom, and steps from the Pratunam pier boat stop. A 4pm-6pm 'Buy One, Get One Free' drinks deal makes early evening a good time to arrive for sunset.

Throwback Rooftop Bar occupies the 9th floor of the Silom Edge building on Silom Road, a short stroll from BTS Sala Daeng and Silom MRT with Lumpini Park in view. As its name suggests, it leans into retro nostalgia, pairing vintage furniture and old-school memorabilia with a breezy open-air terrace and an indoor space built for nightly live music. The soundtrack skews toward 90s tunes, and the venue frequently hosts live bands ranging from local acts to famous Thai performers. The kitchen turns out contemporary Thai-international fusion dishes such as homemade Northern popcorn, beef tartare, spaghetti crab curry and grilled skewers. Cocktails are creative and refreshingly affordable, generally in the 200-350 baht range, keeping it more accessible than many high-end Silom rooftops. A buy-2-get-1-free cocktail promotion before 8pm rewards early arrivals. The overall mood is warm, nostalgic and Instagram-friendly, making it a fun, casual pick for the after-work Silom crowd.

AIRE Bar crowns the 28th floor of Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 24, just 250 meters from BTS Phrom Phong. Designed as a stylish vertical garden, it pairs a spacious alfresco terrace with more covered, intimate corners, plus comfy loungers and edge-side bar stools for panoramic skyline views. One side overlooks the bustle of Sukhumvit 24 while the other opens onto the greenery of Benjakiti Park. The atmosphere is casual and cool, moving between cosy lounging and a more vibrant bar buzz as the night goes on. The drinks list spans signature and classic cocktails, beers and champagne, matched with Asian and global bar bites at notably fair prices for a Bangkok rooftop. A 5-6pm happy hour (Sun-Thu) is timed for sunset, and entertainment includes live music on Saturdays and a DJ on Fridays. Dress code is smart casual, with no flip-flops, slippers, tank tops, shorts or sportswear. It also handles private events for up to 100 guests.

DJ Station is Bangkok's most famous and enduring LGBTQ dance club, tucked at the end of Silom Soi 2 in the Bang Rak district. Since the 1990s it has been the anchor of the Silom gay scene, drawing a packed, high-energy crowd of locals, expats and travellers. The venue is spread across three floors, with an energetic main dance floor at ground level and quieter upper levels for drinking and socialising. International dance music dominates the sound, with pumping house, EDM and pop keeping the floor moving until late. A signature drag and cabaret show takes over around midnight, and the club really fills up in the small hours. Entry typically runs around 150 baht on weeknights and 300 baht at weekends, usually including a drink or two. Photo ID is required (over-20s), and while dress is casual and body-conscious, closed shoes are required (no flip-flops). Expect a lively, shirtless, see-and-be-seen atmosphere that makes it a must-visit on any Bangkok gay nightlife itinerary.

G Bangkok, formerly known as G.O.D. (Guys On Display), is a high-energy LGBTQ late-night nightclub on Silom Soi 2/1, sitting between Silom Soi 2 and Silom Soi 4 near Sala Daeng BTS. It is one of Bangkok's most popular gay clubs and the go-to spot when the neighbouring bars start winding down, staying open far later than most Silom venues. The multi-level club has three floors: a heaving main dance floor where DJs spin circuit, house and dance tracks, plus an upstairs area known as a cruising zone. True to its original name, the club features go-go dancers and shirtless hunks on display, along with grand cabaret and go-go shows around midnight. The vibe gets sweaty, shirtless and euphoric as the night rolls into the early morning. Drinks start from around 150 baht, and while there's no strict dress code, open-toed shoes are not allowed. It's a favourite on the circuit-party calendar and a reliable late-night alternative to DJ Station.

Horn is a raw, bunker-style underground techno club on the 4th floor of Silom Soi 4, in the heart of Bangkok's gay nightlife strip. Opened in early 2025, it deliberately breaks from its glossier, more social neighbours with stripped-back concrete, low light and a cage-like industrial space closer to a Berlin basement than a typical Bangkok bar. A Martin Audio soundsystem drives hard, precise techno for an intimate capacity of roughly 60-80 people. The alternative queer scene has claimed it as home turf, and the programming reflects that with fetish and darkroom nights sitting alongside straight techno sets, all under a 'dress is participation, not decoration' ethos. Themed nights rotate through concepts like BUNKER for driving techno, BOUNCE for soulful house, LAB for experimental sessions, a Thursday Queer Dance Wave and a Sunday REBOUND afternoon session. It has already hosted heavyweight guests including Berghain/Ostgut Ton artists and a full collaboration with Berlin's fetish-techno party Gegen. This is a spot for those here for the beat and the underground energy, not a mainstream playlist.

CRU Champagne Bar sits on the 59th floor rooftop of the Centara Grand at CentralWorld, making it one of the highest and most glamorous rooftop bars in Bangkok. The open-air, circular deck delivers genuine 360-degree panoramic views over the Ratchaprasong and Siam skyline, spectacular at sunset and after dark. It is the only dedicated Champagne bar of its kind in the city, pouring exclusive labels of G.H. Mumm alongside sparkling cocktails and a snack menu of world delicacies such as caviar, oysters and charcuterie. The vibe is chic, upscale and celebratory, popular with couples, well-heeled travellers and those marking special occasions. A smart-casual dress code applies, with no singlets, shorts or flip-flops permitted. Access is via the hotel's dedicated elevators up to Red Sky and then CRU on the roof. Reservations are recommended, especially for sunset and weekend evenings. Expect premium pricing in keeping with the Champagne focus and the altitude.

Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant occupies the 37th floor of the Pullman Bangkok Hotel G on Silom Road, in the heart of the city's business and nightlife district. The French-inspired rooftop combines a sleek, dimly lit indoor dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-air terrace overlooking the Bangkok skyline toward the Chao Phraya River. The kitchen serves a produce-driven menu of tapas-style bites, charcuterie and cheese boards, fresh seafood and dry-aged steaks, paired with an extensive wine list of close to 200 labels and creative cocktails. The atmosphere is lively yet unpretentious and sophisticated, drawing an after-work crowd, wine lovers, couples and groups. A daily happy hour runs at sunset, making early evening a great time to catch the view. The venue is Michelin Guide recommended and sits a short walk from BTS Chong Nonsi. Reservations are recommended and can be made via SevenRooms or WhatsApp. Smart-casual attire is expected.

The Roof Top Bar sits high inside the Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Pratunam, one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok, on the 83rd floor just below the hotel's famous 77th-floor observation deck and 84th-floor revolving viewpoint. The sophisticated, elegant space features floor-to-ceiling windows delivering sweeping panoramic nightscapes across the sprawling city. It is billed as one of Bangkok's most exclusive after-dark venues, with soft background and piano music setting a refined mood. The bar serves signature cocktails, fine wines and light appetisers and tapas, and is a popular stop for visitors combining drinks with the tower's sky-high viewpoints. The crowd is a mix of tourists and couples seeking a dramatic high-altitude view without the exclusivity of a luxury hotel bar. Access is typically via a ticket or dining package to reach the upper floors of the tower. Table reservations are available, and evenings are best for the illuminated city panorama.

Eagle Nest is an intimate rooftop bar perched on the 5th floor of the boutique Sala Rattanakosin hotel in Bangkok's historic Old City, directly on the Chao Phraya River. Its greatest asset is the view: a near-perfect vantage across the water to the illuminated spires of Wat Arun, with Wat Pho and Wat Phra Kaeo close behind. The bar is small and unpretentious, with just a few tables and a compact bar, no loud music and no flashy design, just a peaceful breeze off the river. It serves cocktails, beer and wine in a relaxed, tranquil setting that is especially magical at sunset and after dark when the temple is lit. The crowd is a mellow mix of hotel guests, temple-hopping travellers and couples chasing one of the city's best riverside sunsets. Because the space is tiny and hugely popular, arriving early (around 5 pm) is the best way to secure a table for sunset. The nearest station is MRT Sanam Chai, about 400 metres away.

Asia Today is an intimate cocktail bar tucked into the Soi Nana laneway of Bangkok's Chinatown, opened by the team behind the multi-award-winning Teens of Thailand. Set in a compact shophouse space that famously uses a fire-exit door as its entrance, the bar has a bold, playful attitude, complete with quirky decor, neon signs and a suspended shark. The drinks program celebrates high-quality local Thai produce that is often overlooked, building cocktails around indigenous herbs, wild chrysanthemum from Chiang Rai, and up to thirteen regional varieties of Thai honey, much of it foraged and tested personally by the bartenders. Its signature style leans on honey- and rum-forward drinks, such as the Eastern Honey served in a beeswax mug with gin, sesame, lime and wild-honey foam. The small counter encourages close, conversational interaction with the bartenders, so guests are encouraged to ask for a recommendation based on their preferred level of sweetness. On weekends the venue also opens during the day for coffee and coffee-based mocktails. Asia Today has earned international recognition, appearing on Asia's 50 Best Bars list. J.Boroski is one of Bangkok's most celebrated hidden speakeasies, tucked down a quiet, unmarked alley off Thonglor Soi 55 behind a curtained door. The bar is the namesake of Joseph Boroski, a former New Yorker and star mixologist known for his work behind Maggie Choo's, Clouds and The Iron Fairies, with the space itself designed in collaboration with fantastical interior designer Ashley Sutton. There is no menu here: after asking about your tastes, mood and preferences, the bartenders craft a completely bespoke cocktail using fresh local ingredients, exotic infusions and premium, hard-to-find spirits. The interior is understated industrial and steampunk chic, with leather couches, thousands of metal butterflies cascading from the ceiling, and audiobooks playing in the bathrooms. The experience is personal, theatrical and unhurried, making it a favorite for date nights and special occasions. The bar accepts only cash or QR-code payment, no credit cards. Reservations are strongly recommended given the intimate, hidden setting. It is regularly cited among the best places to drink and party in Bangkok's Thonglor district. Expect a stylish, discerning crowd of cocktail lovers, couples and small groups.

Ku Bar is a hidden, reservation-only cocktail bar in Bangkok's Old Town (Phra Nakhon / Rattanakosin), reached via a narrow, dark alley alongside the Brown Sugar jazz bar on Phra Sumen Road, where a spirit house guards a small brown door and a dusty concrete staircase leads up to the third floor. Behind a sliding wooden door lies a minimalist, brutalist-inspired space of raw concrete, wood and a marble counter, cozy yet slightly eerie, evoking an abandoned omakase restaurant with iron-grated windows drawn from old Thai architecture. The bar is helmed by Anupas Kong Premanuwat, who honed his craft over five years at New York's acclaimed Angel's Share speakeasy. The cocktail menu changes monthly and spotlights local ingredients sourced from the fresh market, with house drinks priced around 350-380 baht, such as a tequila-and-celery drink, a sherry and rose-infused vermouth creation, a 10 Herb cocktail with bruleed sugar, and a banana-chocolate drink with Fernet Branca. Natural wines are also available from around 320 baht per glass. It is a tiny, two-person operation with a strict no-standing policy, so advance booking is essential. The intimate, hushed atmosphere rewards adventurous drinkers who appreciate craft and creativity. It is consistently ranked among the best bars in Bangkok's Old Town.

Stella is the glamorous signature cocktail bar at Capella Bangkok, set on the ground floor of the luxury riverside hotel along the Chao Phraya River. The bar doubles as a patisserie, offering a dessert omakase created by executive pastry chef Sylvain Constans, with optional cocktail pairings. Its cocktail program is led by Bars Manager Miriam Nini and has drawn on themes of female heroism across Thai, Indian, Japanese and Chinese histories, with the latest menu built around the lotus flower and spanning 19 cocktails in three chapters. It is reachable via the MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre station, a short taxi ride away.

Independence is a wine-focused cocktail bar tucked into the low-key side of Bangkok's Chinatown, on Maitri Chit Road a few minutes' walk from MRT Hua Lamphong. Opened in May 2024 in a converted former motorcycle repair shop, it trades polish for a raw, seductive vibe of graffiti-covered walls, fluorescent lighting and a design often likened to a New York subway platform. The concept is to strip the snobbery out of wine, letting guests explore traditional and natural wines, sake, port and vermouth without any pretension. These fortified and aromatized wines also become key ingredients in the cocktails, such as the Fake Ass Negroni, which twists the classic with Niepoort Ruby port, dry sherry, Sacred Rosehip and Contratto Bitter. It has been called arguably the least snobbish wine bar in Bangkok, and some coverage highlights inventive Isaan-Thai-inspired drinks alongside the wine list. The soundtrack leans indie, alternative and hip-hop rather than typical lounge jazz, reinforcing the unpretentious, easy-going mood. It is part of a hospitality group that also runs the bars Tax, Asia Today and G.O.D. Expect a young, in-the-know crowd looking for fun over formality; cocktails generally run 400-500 baht.

The space is warm and elegant, with wood paneling, floor-to-ceiling windows, candlelit seating, a polished wooden bar counter and a grand piano. Nightly live music, featuring vocalists across a range of genres, adds to the intimate, high-end atmosphere. The hotel opened in April 2025 and is regarded as one of Bangkok's most exclusive addresses. Access is primarily for hotel guests, residences and Aman Club members, though outside guests may sometimes reserve in advance subject to availability. Reservations are handled through the hotel's booking system, and the crowd skews affluent, polished and international.

The bar occupies half of a bespoke tailoring business that Nawin Satchasiree's grandfather opened on the soi more than sixty years ago, and the family has been cutting cloth there ever since. Often called the OG of Bangkok's speakeasy scene, it is a compact, confident bar that tells the story of suit-making through its drinks. The signature list is themed around the steps of tailoring, including The Measure (a martini-style drink with vermouth and fernet), The Stitch (built on a purple spirit from Phrae province, garnished with jasmine silk), The Press (a highball with Japanese tea) and The Button (a negroni twist with homemade herbal bitters and a chocolate-button garnish). Seating is deliberately minimal, with room for around seven or eight at the bar counter plus an interior sofa area, giving it a quiet, private feel despite the surrounding Nana nightlife. The atmosphere rewards guests who appreciate both craft and a bit of mischief. It is well suited to cocktail enthusiasts seeking a discreet, story-driven hideaway.

The Loft is the acclaimed cocktail bar on the 56th floor of the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok on Ratchadamri Road, pairing exceptional drinks with sweeping skyline views. It transplants the glamour and heritage of New York's original Waldorf Astoria into a Bangkok skyscraper and layers on new-wave Asian bar magic. The design is a lavish blend of art deco and art nouveau, entered via a bronze spiral staircase and dressed with rose gold accents, marble, Art Nouveau chandeliers and whimsical touches like a paint-splattered communal table meant to evoke a bygone-Paris artist's loft. The cocktail program, led by Italian bartender Michele Montauti, draws on 20th-century creativity and the historic recipes of The Old Waldorf-Astoria Bar Book, from the iconic Rob Roy to house creations. Featured drinks include the Lalla Rookh (rum, cognac, rose syrup, lime, egg white, vanilla soda), the Waldorf Claret Cup (cognac, dry curacao, maraschino, lime, soda) and the Waldorf (bourbon, vermouth, chocolate bitters, Thai basil). It was honored with a Forbes Travel Guide Best Bar award in 2025 and is consistently ranked among Bangkok's top cocktail bars. Honest Mistake is a theatrical Shanghai-mafia-themed speakeasy in the Saphan Khwai/Ari area, hidden inside the Aqua lifestyle mall on Phahonyothin Road and reachable on foot from BTS Saphan Khwai or BTS Ari. Getting in is part of the fun: you walk down a dimly lit alley into a fake Chinese pawnshop, hand a bribe (around 300 baht) to a lady in a qipao, and take the key up a narrow staircase to the third-floor bar. Inside, it channels 1930s-40s prohibition-era Shanghai with neon red Chinese signage, US-1920s speakeasy styling and an old-school mahjong table under dim lighting that evokes a secret casino. The cocktails blend Chinese and Western ingredients and come in three broad styles: complex, sweet-and-sour, and flavored gin and tonics. Signatures include the JuJube, a complex bourbon drink with sous-vide dried jujube, Chinese wolfberry and mushroom, and the ChinaTown, a creamy vodka-based mix of homemade chestnut syrup, egg white and fragrant lemon Chartreuse. Live music and guest DJs typically play on Fridays and Saturdays. It draws bar-hoppers looking for an immersive experience beyond a standard Bangkok cocktail bar. The dramatic entry ritual and detailed theming make it a memorable, photogenic night out.

The bar is famous for its dirt-cheap, simple-but-strong drinks with no fancy mixology, and its unmistakable quirky decor of fairy lights strung from animal skulls, model trains, Batman figures, and vintage road signs. Seating is casual outdoor bar stools on a paved area, giving it a relaxed, social, conversation-friendly vibe that has always been its trademark. It draws a loyal mix of expats, backpackers, budget travelers, and locals, and is welcoming to solo drinkers. The bar is cash-only and does not serve a full food menu, keeping the focus squarely on affordable beer, spirits, and cocktails. It was founded by a small group of creative, passionate Thais united by a love of soulful, minimal-intervention wines, and began life as an online wine shop during the Covid-19 pandemic before opening as a physical bar. The list is a small, personal and constantly rotating selection of natural, organic and biodynamic wines from small producers and less-travelled regions, with over 30 labels rotating roughly weekly and a leaning toward cloudy, umami, high skin-contact and orange wines, including bottles from Georgia and Serbia. The interior is charming and low-key, with cement floors, warm wood, greenery, kooky knick-knacks, soft lighting and a soft-lit patio. The kitchen serves non-traditional, Thai-influenced small plates designed to pair with the wines, and the bar frequently hosts kitchen takeovers and collaborations with respected restaurants. It fits Ari's casual, conscious, natural-and-organic aesthetic and draws curious wine enthusiasts open to unconventional pairings and flavours. Drinks are pub-style and unpretentious, with beers, spirits and cocktails, plus food available. The crowd is a devoted mix of rockers, metalheads, headbangers, expats and long-time regulars. It remains one of the longest-running and most iconic live-rock venues in Thailand.

Foojohn Jazz Club is an intimate live jazz venue on the second floor of the historic FooJohn Building, a renovated 1960s post-modernist landmark in the atmospheric Talat Noi district of Bangkok's Chinatown. Curated by a collective of jazz lovers, it has grown over several years into a key hub of the city's jazz scene, hosting live performances from a diverse line-up of local and international artists. The club runs Wednesday through Sunday from around 6 pm until late, with music the centrepiece of the night. Its cosy room seats roughly 50 to 60 guests, creating a warm, close-up listening atmosphere favoured by jazz lovers and night owls. Skilled mixologists turn out a well-crafted cocktail menu that complements the vibe, and there is a card minimum of around 1,000 baht. Because the space is small and fills up fast, reservations are recommended and can be made by phone in the late afternoon. The surrounding FooJohn Building adds to the appeal, housing other venues including a French bistro and an American-style smokehouse. The crowd is a stylish, creative mix of jazz enthusiasts, hip locals, tourists and night owls exploring Chinatown after dark.

Grapey is a cozy, owner-run natural wine bar that recently moved into a larger space on Sukhumvit Soi 22 in Bangkok. It built its reputation on pairing natural (low-intervention) wines with flavour-packed dishes inspired by Thai and regional Asian, particularly Isaan/Esarn, cooking, where spice, acidity and savoury notes complement the wines in unexpected ways. The bar pours a wide, frequently rotating selection of natural wines, and the friendly owner is known for personally recommending bottles and glasses based on each guest's taste. Beyond wine, Grapey also serves coffee, pastries and Asian small plates, giving it a relaxed all-day cafe-into-wine-bar character. The atmosphere is intimate, welcoming and lively, drawing natural wine enthusiasts and neighbourhood regulars. Its move to the bigger Sukhumvit 22 venue kept the same easygoing energy while adding more room to gather. It is a strong pick for anyone exploring Bangkok's growing natural wine scene.

Two Palms Taproom is a craft beer community space set inside a heritage colonial building (roughly 185 to 200 years old) in the heart of Bangkok's Old Town on Phra Sumen Road. The elegant two-story space, with box sash windows, colonial arches and a tropical courtyard, is striking enough that some say it looks more like a wedding venue than a place for crushing beers, marked outside by its two namesake palm trees. It runs 15 taps devoted to local Thai craft breweries such as SpaceCraft, Vana Brewing, Sunrise Brewing, Fishbridge, Brainfill and Outlaw, spanning hazy IPAs, sours, stouts, lagers and wheat beers, with tasting flights available. For non-beer drinkers there is a classic cocktail menu including an Old Fashioned, a Moscow-to-BKK Mule and a salted plum highball. The kitchen turns out Thai-style drinking food, from somtam, corn ribs and hash browns to smoked coconut-milk prawns, Thai spice-rubbed ribs and eight-hour slow-cooked brisket. It has been in soft opening since early 2025 and champions Thailand's expanding independent brewing scene. Sunday happy hour brings buy-one-get-one deals on select taps. The vibe is unfiltered, underground and community-minded, drawing craft beer lovers and Old Town explorers.

Sports on 20 is a lively American-style sports bar and grill at the mouth of Sukhumvit Soi 20, billing itself as Bangkok's home for US sports. It shows all the major action across 14 HDTV screens, covering NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and college sports from the USA, plus Premier League soccer, international rugby, cricket, Formula 1, MotoGP, UFC, NRL and AFL. The kitchen serves a crowd-pleasing mix of Western pub fare and Thai favourites, including pizza, burgers, wings and sharing plates, along with an all-day breakfast, and delivery is available via Foodpanda. The bar pours cold local and imported beers such as Singha, Leo, Chang, Tiger and Heineken alongside cocktails, with a daily happy hour from 2pm to 7pm featuring local beers around 99 baht. A pool table, full sound system and roomy group seating add to the game-day atmosphere. Open from morning until late, it is a reliable spot to catch early-morning US kickoffs or late-night European fixtures. Reviewers consistently praise its friendly regulars and strong screen coverage, and it holds a high rating across review platforms. The overall feel is casual, social and sports-first.

Burbrit is a Burmese-British craft brewery whose beers were conceived in Singapore and born in Yangon, and this Phra Khanong taproom is its second Bangkok location, right beside BTS Phra Khanong in the Summer Hub complex. The name is a portmanteau of Burmese and British, reflecting the nationalities of its founders. The bar pours around a dozen craft beers brewed in Myanmar, organised into classic, American-inspired and unique categories, alongside cocktails starting around 200 baht. The kitchen leans into Burmese fare and beer snacks, with dishes such as tea leaf salad, Burmese fritters, wings, satay and quesadillas. Compared with the more pub-like original Phrom Phong branch, the Phra Khanong space has an airier feel with high ceilings and Art Nouveau-style black window frames, leaning toward a casual, neon-touched, almost fast-food-y sports-bar vibe. The venue is unpretentious and wallet-friendly. It celebrated its grand opening in May 2025. Burbrit's original Sukhumvit/Phrom Phong location was a finalist for Best Beer Bar at the 2025 BAD Awards.

Salon Kiku is a natural wine bar and listening room that opened in 2024 on the 4th floor of Studio Lam on Sukhumvit Soi 51, in the heart of Thonglor. It positions itself as a hybrid space that gives equal attention to what is in your glass and what is coming through the speakers, pairing a rotating selection of natural reds, whites and orange wines with a serious analog sound system built around warm Altec A7 speakers. The compact room clusters tables tightly around the sound and offers panoramic views across Bangkok's skyline, with a jazz-cafe mood early in the evening that builds into more dynamic energy as the night goes on. Music spans jazz, soul, funk, Thai funk, global grooves, disco and house, delivered through curated DJ sets and occasional live performances. Beyond natural wine by the glass and bottle, the bar pours classic cocktails and craft non-alcoholic drinks, with small plates of cheese, charcuterie and snacks to share. The crowd skews thoughtful rather than frantic, mixing Bangkok's creative and social scene with international visitors who value good conversation as much as good music. It is a roughly 5-10 minute walk from BTS Thong Lo, making it an easy, relaxed destination for a date or a low-key night out. Reservations are not required and the dress code is casual.

Duke of Beerington is a craft beer bar and bottle shop located on the ground floor of SK Tower on Sukhumvit Road, just minutes from BTS Thonglor. Behind tall glass windows sits a clean, white, minimalist space with a long communal table and a tall window bar of stools, built for drinking in or grabbing bottles to go. The core of the offering is a fridge stocked with around 100 craft beers and ciders, backed by three meticulously curated rotating taps. The selection leans international and rotating, with UK breweries like Verdant and Track, a strong lineup of American beers, Japanese imports and, more recently, legal Thai craft brews. The man behind the bar, Um, is known for genuinely knowing his beers and happily guiding undecided customers toward the right pour. There is no kitchen, so regulars order in food from nearby spots or have Japanese delivered from across the alley. Happy hour discounts on draft beers make it a relaxed spot for beer geeks and neighborhood locals alike. It is best reached via BTS Thong Lo and works equally well as a quick bottle run or a lingering session at the bar.

The Robin Hood is a traditional British pub and one of Bangkok's favourite spots for live sport, sitting opposite Benjasiri Park on Sukhumvit Soi 33/1, a short walk from BTS Phrom Phong. It is a large, English-style pub decked out in dark wood with floorboards, a long ground-floor bar and comfortable seating for dining, plus a balcony area upstairs with more seating and a pool table. Multiple large HD screens show live matches, with weekends given over to football, rugby and cricket fixtures. The kitchen runs from morning until late serving international pub grub and British classics, from traditional English breakfasts to hearty mains, alongside draught beers and local ales. Daily happy hour and a Monday quiz night round out a busy weekly calendar. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, popular with expats, sports fans and visitors looking for a familiar pub feel in the middle of Sukhumvit. Its location by the park and near the BTS makes it easy to reach for a match, a meal or a pint. It has long been a fixture of the Phrom Phong drinking scene.

COLLECTED is an intimate natural wine bar set in a historic heritage building in Bangkok's Old Town, on Bamrung Mueang Road in Phra Nakhon. Small, relaxed and easy-going, it feels like the kind of neighbourhood wine bar every city wishes it had, with only around ten seats. The program centres on natural, organic and orange wines, often spotlighting lesser-known and underrepresented white grape varieties, and is complemented by local craft beer and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Rather than formal lectures, the bar hosts casual tastings and pours built around conversation, shared snacks and easy-going discovery. Shared plates and snacks accompany the drinks, keeping the mood social and unpretentious. The focus is not on chasing trends but on creating a space where good drinks and good conversation come naturally, welcoming both seasoned natural-wine drinkers and curious newcomers. Its Old Town setting makes it a distinctive stop away from the Sukhumvit crowds. The friendly, low-key atmosphere makes exploring unfamiliar bottles feel effortless.

Echo opened in July 2026 inside the Town Hall complex on Sukhumvit 49, a short walk from BTS Phrom Phong, and quickly became one of the area's most talked-about new clubs. The room is built like a cave: sculpted, sand-toned concrete walls and a vaulted ceiling that curves down over a long backlit bar, with an arched frosted-glass back wall stacked with premium bottles and a large LED screen washing the stepped main floor in light. Resident DJs run a hip-hop-led open-format set, with live singers taking over between them. Bottle-service tables ring the floor and reservations go through the club's LINE account. Open nightly from 8 PM until 3 AM.

A live-music bar hidden on the 5th floor of NEXTOPIA inside Siam Paragon, opened in July 2026 and billed by the mall itself as one of its best-kept after-dark secrets. The room is styled as a night forest: a ceiling draped in hanging foliage, clusters of pale disc lamps floating like clouds, and a huge backlit moon disc behind the stage carrying the bar's astronaut logo. A live band plays every evening from 8 PM, with cocktails and a full kitchen running alongside - steaks, salads and Thai-leaning plates. The owners pitch it as a room that works whether you arrive with a group or on your own. Open daily from 5:30 PM until 2 AM.

Bar and restaurant in the EATELIER dining zone on the 4th floor of Siam Paragon, built around an unusually deep spirits list — rare, limited-edition and award-winning bottles, many available by the glass, plus curated whisky tasting flights. The room is unmistakable: blue-lit arches over a curved back bar, moss-covered walls with hanging greenery, blue velvet stools and waistcoated staff. Handcrafted cocktails are paired with a Thai-Western tapas menu developed by Benya Nanthakhwang of White Café. Open from mid-morning to midnight, it suits a shopping break as readily as a late drink.

Cocktail bar in a century-old shophouse in the Baan Trok Tua Ngork building, off Thanon Santiphap in the Old Town. The room runs on pale columns and long communal tables, with one wall given over to shelves of apothecary bottles that give the bar its 'delivered from groceries' idea. It comes from the team behind Bar Us, took the Best Bar Design award, and sits at number 69 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026.

After-hours house and electronic club on the ninth floor of the Trinity Complex off Silom, opened in late 2024 by three brothers who worked between Tokyo, New York and Paris. Doors open at midnight and the floor fills after two, with visiting selectors from around Asia. Tickets at the door only.

Members' club and restaurant across the top two floors of JLK Tower on Sukhumvit, opened December 2025 under creative direction from Jackson Wang's Team Wang Design. Rong Supper Club serves modern Sichuan-Cantonese cuisine and dim sum from chef Benson Feng, Bar Won (from the team behind Seoul's Alice) pours the cocktail menu, and Yang's Club 94 is a members-only DJ room that opens later in the night; the Founder's Lounge adds a wine cellar and cigar lounge. The restaurant and Bar Won take walk-in and non-member reservations, while Yang's Club, the private rooms and investors' lounge stay members-only. Also open for weekend lunch, Saturday and Sunday 12:00-15:00.

An open-air food and drink complex at the deep end of Sukhumvit 24, built around a curved copper bar under palms and woven pendant lamps. Several independent kitchens and bars share the same yard, which makes it a place to sit down and settle in rather than a single bar to pass through. Live performances run Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the yard is open from 7am to 2am every day. The nightclub Upper House sits in the same complex, and 24 BLVD shares an operator with Baccarat and House of Savoy further along the soi.
