Yao Rooftop Bar & Lounge sits on the 32nd floor of the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse on Surawong Road, near the Silom and Patpong districts. Styled with an air of classic Shanghai chic, it fuses modern Chinese design with vintage opulence across a multi-level open-air terrace scattered with comfortable loungers. The elevated setting opens up truly sweeping 360-degree panoramas over the Bangkok skyline and the Chao Phraya River, making it one of the city's more atmospheric high-rise social spots. The bar pairs crafted signature cocktails and fine wines with Chinese-inspired drinks and premium bites from the adjoining Yao Chinese restaurant, such as Peking duck rolls with caviar, shrimp and foie gras dumplings and dim sum. The mood is chilled and sophisticated, well suited to a cosy, relaxed night out with attentive service.
