1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using bangkokvenues.com ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Website.
2. Description of Service
Bangkok Venues is a directory of nightlife venues in Bangkok, Thailand. We provide:
- A searchable directory of bars, clubs, rooftops, and other nightlife venues.
- Planning tools including a bar crawl planner, cost calculator, event cost estimator, bar personality quiz, happy hour finder, and rooftop comparison tool.
- A private event venue matching service.
- Blog content and nightlife guides.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website or its systems.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Website without written permission.
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the Website content without authorization.
- Submit false or misleading information through any forms.
4. Venue Information Accuracy
We strive to keep venue information accurate and up to date. However, venue details such as operating hours, pricing, dress codes, and availability are subject to change without notice. We recommend confirming details directly with venues before visiting, especially for special occasions or large groups.
Bangkok Venues does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any venue information, reviews, or recommendations on the Website.
5. Planning Tools and Estimates
Our planning tools (bar crawl planner, cost calculator, event cost estimator, etc.) provide estimates and suggestions for informational purposes only. Actual costs, travel times, and availability may differ. These tools should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial or planning decisions.
6. Private Event Service
Our private event venue matching service connects event planners with venues. Bangkok Venues acts as an intermediary and is not a party to any agreement between you and a venue. We are not responsible for the performance, quality, or actions of any venue.
Any contracts, payments, or arrangements for private events are made directly between you and the venue. Bangkok Venues is not liable for any disputes arising from such arrangements.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Bangkok Venues or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without prior written consent.
8. User Submissions
By submitting information through our forms (event inquiries, lead capture forms, etc.), you grant Bangkok Venues a non-exclusive right to use that information to provide the requested services and for internal business purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Links
The Website contains links to third-party websites including venue websites, Google Maps, and social media platforms. These links are provided for convenience only. Bangkok Venues does not endorse or assume responsibility for the content or practices of linked sites.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bangkok Venues shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Bangkok Venues is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other harm resulting from your visit to any venue listed on the Website. You visit venues at your own risk.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. Membership and Payments
Parts of the Website are available only to members. Membership gives you access to information we have researched and verified: full drink and food menus with prices, table minimums, bottle prices and what each tier includes. You are paying for access to that information, not for anything from the venues themselves. Section 4 applies to member content exactly as it does to the rest of the Website.
Price and renewal
An annual membership costs THB 2,900, charged at purchase. It renews automatically every twelve months at the same price, charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change, and a change never applies to a term you have already paid for.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the term you have already paid for. Your access continues until the end of that term, and there is no partial refund for the unused remainder.
Refunds
Membership is digital content you can use immediately, so it is generally not refundable once you have used it. We will nonetheless refund a membership in full within 14 days of purchase if you have not opened any member-only content in that time. Write to us at the address in section 15 and say that you want a refund; we do not require a reason.
Free access
We may from time to time let free accounts open a limited number of venues in full. Where that is offered, the allowance is limited, expires after 30 days, and does not renew automatically. It costs nothing, it is not part of what a membership entitles you to, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.
Payment processing and failed payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and are never seen or stored by us. See our Privacy Policy. If a renewal payment fails, your access continues for a short grace period while Stripe retries. If it still fails after that, membership access ends; your account and any free allowance remain.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
