The Smiths Bar

A bar built into the Smiths Motors Co garage off Sukhontha Sawat 32 in Lat Phrao, so the room next door is a workshop of classic cars and motorcycles and the bar itself sits under a wall of framed record sleeves with a red neon Smiths script over the counter. The drinks card runs cocktails, wine by the glass and sparkling, and the kitchen sends out bar food under a Campbell's-soup pop-art wall. Live music some nights. Open 5pm to 2am, closed Mondays.

Soulmate Listening Bar

A listening bar on Soi Lat Phrao 41 built around a curved timber counter that runs under a full wall of shelved records, lit warm from behind so the sleeves are the room's decoration. A DJ plays vinyl to the seated room later in the evening; earlier it works as a record shop and coffee counter, and the kitchen sends out food alongside beer and wine. Open 6pm to 1am, closed on Wednesdays, with reservations through the LINE account.

G.O.R. House

A cocktail bar on Soi Yothin Phatthana in Bang Kapi, behind a lit street sign that reads sounds, music, community. Inside, a long curved bar runs under an arc of light with a wall of bottles behind it and low stools along the front; the back room keeps more shelving and darker seating. The card is classics - Negroni, Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini, Whiskey Sour, Margarita, Manhattan - at roughly 250 to 290 baht, and reviewers talk about the music in the room as much as the drinks. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to midnight, closed Sunday and Monday.
