Two Palms Taproom
Two Palms Taproom is a craft beer community space set inside a heritage colonial building (roughly 185 to 200 years old) in the heart of Bangkok's Old Town on Phra Sumen Road. The elegant two-story space, with box sash windows, colonial arches and a tropical courtyard, is striking enough that some say it looks more like a wedding venue than a place for crushing beers, marked outside by its two namesake palm trees. It runs 15 taps devoted to local Thai craft breweries such as SpaceCraft, Vana Brewing, Sunrise Brewing, Fishbridge, Brainfill and Outlaw, spanning hazy IPAs, sours, stouts, lagers and wheat beers, with tasting flights available. For non-beer drinkers there is a classic cocktail menu including an Old Fashioned, a Moscow-to-BKK Mule and a salted plum highball. The kitchen turns out Thai-style drinking food, from somtam, corn ribs and hash browns to smoked coconut-milk prawns, Thai spice-rubbed ribs and eight-hour slow-cooked brisket. It has been in soft opening since early 2025 and champions Thailand's expanding independent brewing scene. Sunday happy hour brings buy-one-get-one deals on select taps. The vibe is unfiltered, underground and community-minded, drawing craft beer lovers and Old Town explorers.
