Sky Beach is an open-air rooftop bar perched on the 78th floor of the iconic King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper, part of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon hotel in the Silom/Sathorn district. At roughly 310 meters it is the highest rooftop bar in Bangkok and among the highest in the world, offering unobstructed 360-degree panoramic views over the city skyline. The design is retro-chic and tropical, with playful bright-yellow accents, comfy lounge seating, outdoor loungers, a staircase seating area and even a phone booth, giving it a laid-back yet stylish beach-club-in-the-sky feel. The drinks program features creative, photogenic signature cocktails such as the 'Bangkok Sunset Spritz' crafted under celebrated Bangkok mixologist Milk Thanaworachayakit, alongside a full international drinks list. Food is American-style bar bites served across Daytime, Sunset and Nighttime menus, including pizza, prawns, hot dogs, Caesar salad, snacks and soft-serve ice cream. Live DJs keep the atmosphere upbeat, especially at sunset and into the evening, making it a magnet for the golden-hour crowd. Access before 7pm requires a Mahanakhon SkyWalk/Sky Beach ticket (about THB 1,000-1,200), while after 7pm a THB 1,000 cover charge applies that includes one drink. The dress code is smart casual (no flip-flops or tank tops), and seats fill up fast around sunset, so early arrival or reservations are recommended.
