About
Burbrit is a Burmese-British craft brewery whose beers were conceived in Singapore and born in Yangon, and this Phra Khanong taproom is its second Bangkok location, right beside BTS Phra Khanong in the Summer Hub complex. The name is a portmanteau of Burmese and British, reflecting the nationalities of its founders. The bar pours around a dozen craft beers brewed in Myanmar, organised into classic, American-inspired and unique categories, alongside cocktails starting around 200 baht. The kitchen leans into Burmese fare and beer snacks, with dishes such as tea leaf salad, Burmese fritters, wings, satay and quesadillas. Compared with the more pub-like original Phrom Phong branch, the Phra Khanong space has an airier feel with high ceilings and Art Nouveau-style black window frames, leaning toward a casual, neon-touched, almost fast-food-y sports-bar vibe. The venue is unpretentious and wallet-friendly. It celebrated its grand opening in May 2025. Burbrit's original Sukhumvit/Phrom Phong location was a finalist for Best Beer Bar at the 2025 BAD Awards.
