A balcony bar on the third floor of the Merchant Gate Hotel above Song Wat Road, open from late afternoon rather than only at night. Inside, the bar sits under a full wall of records with the bottles lined up along the counter in front of them; outside, a handful of tiled tables look down over the Song Wat rooftops and a temple roof. Vinyl plays through the afternoon and DJs take over later. Cocktails run off a printed classics-and-signatures card, and it opens every day from 4pm to 11.30pm.
