About

A wooden deck built out over the Chao Phraya at the quiet end of Talat Noi, roofed in corrugated metal and furnished with mismatched vintage armchairs and plastic garden chairs. The river is directly below the railing rather than in the distance, and the west-facing orientation puts the sunset over the Thonburi bank. The kitchen serves Thai small plates alongside cocktails, imported and domestic beer and non-alcoholic soda. The room is small and there is no reservation system, so seats on the water go to whoever arrives first. Guests must be 20 or over. The Google Maps pin is misplaced: the entrance is the alley to the right of the temple gate, not the temple-like building itself.
