Peak-A-Boo Bar Ratchayothin

Chatuchak, Bangkok

About

Peak-A-Boo is the best-regarded room in the Ratchayothin cluster, 4.8 across more than 570 reviews, and it sits inside the Avenue Ratchayothin complex beside Major Cineplex. The room is long and low, lit blue and green, with the PEAK A BOO signature in neon on a curved wall behind the bar, arched booths down one side, high tables in the middle and screens over the floor. Bands play from a stage at the far end and the review keywords put atmosphere, songs and music well ahead of anything else. The pricing is built for a student crowd rather than a Sukhumvit one: a drinks-and-food buffet from Sunday to Tuesday at 399, 499 or 699 baht a head, 3.5-litre buckets at 690, and shots served by the dozen on a light-up checkerboard tray. It runs to two in the morning through the week and half past three on Friday and Saturday. Tables go through the venue's LINE account, and the weekly live band line-up is published on its Linktree.

Tip N Drip

Tip N Drip, branded TND, is a Thai-style drinking spot that opened in spring 2026 inside the Sena Center complex on Phahonyothin Road, a short walk from BTS Ratchayothin exit 3. It runs on a drink-buffet model rather than a normal bar tab: guests pay a flat per-person rate that changes by weekday and by arrival time, cheapest for arriving before 21:00, and that covers unlimited house beer and Thai whisky for the night. Ice, mixers and food are charged separately, and the rates are re-posted each month on the venue's own channels. The room is a long, low-ceilinged hall with rows of shared tables facing a stage, a bar down one side, and a neon photo corner with dartboards and a 'Call me BABY' sign that the venue uses for its social media. Programming is live music: house singers and bands most nights, plus occasional guest bookings from the Thai rap scene, including 1MILL in July 2026. The crowd is young, local and group-based, drawn from the surrounding Ratchayothin and Kasetsart student area, and it stands at the tables rather than sitting. Two things are worth knowing first. Buffet drinks may not be poured into the table ice bucket, and the venue enforces that rule with on-the-spot penalty charges; a large share of its Google reviews are disputes over exactly this, and over extra charges added late in the evening, which is why its rating sits well below the Bangkok average. Doors are 7 pm to 2 am daily and tables are booked through the venue's LINE account.

RYSH Ratchayothin

RYSH, written ริช รัชโยธิน in Thai, is a bar and live-music room on the first floor of a building directly beside BTS Ratchayothin exit 4, on the Chatuchak stretch of Phahonyothin Road. Its centrepiece is a stage set inside concentric gold-lit arches under the RYSH monogram, where house bands and singers play through the evening and resident DJs take over later. The DJ side is unusually well documented for a Bangkok bar: the venue posts hour-long recordings of its own sets on YouTube, where residents including MIKEPCK, GOBLIN and BESTBOI run open-format party sets and themed nights such as K-pop, and guest bookings from the Thai scene fill the calendar in between. The room is spacious by local standards, with round tables facing the stage, a long bar backed by a lit spirits wall against rough stone, and a kitchen doing Thai bar food, mostly hot soups, spicy salads and fried snacks in the 100 to 240 baht range. Reviewers single out the music and the atmosphere far more often than the drinks, and the floor fills with a young local crowd rather than a tourist one. Tables can be reserved up to seven days ahead through the venue's LINE account, which is the only booking channel: no phone number and no website are published anywhere.
