RYSH, written ริช รัชโยธิน in Thai, is a bar and live-music room on the first floor of a building directly beside BTS Ratchayothin exit 4, on the Chatuchak stretch of Phahonyothin Road. Its centrepiece is a stage set inside concentric gold-lit arches under the RYSH monogram, where house bands and singers play through the evening and resident DJs take over later. The DJ side is unusually well documented for a Bangkok bar: the venue posts hour-long recordings of its own sets on YouTube, where residents including MIKEPCK, GOBLIN and BESTBOI run open-format party sets and themed nights such as K-pop, and guest bookings from the Thai scene fill the calendar in between. The room is spacious by local standards, with round tables facing the stage, a long bar backed by a lit spirits wall against rough stone, and a kitchen doing Thai bar food, mostly hot soups, spicy salads and fried snacks in the 100 to 240 baht range. Reviewers single out the music and the atmosphere far more often than the drinks, and the floor fills with a young local crowd rather than a tourist one. Ratch Hour sits in the Ratchayothin underpass on the Chatuchak side of Phahonyothin Road and is the busiest of the local rooms clustered around the BTS station. Jalwa Club Bangkok opened on 17 June 2026 underneath the Hyatt Regency at the mouth of Sukhumvit Soi 13, and is the Bangkok branch of the Jalwa club on Pattaya's Walking Street. It calls itself The Billionaire's Bastion and it is an Indian club: the DJs run Bollywood and Punjabi sets, and reviewers name that programming as the reason they came. The room is a full production club rather than a bar, with LED walls and lit ceiling panels, moving-head beams and lasers over a dance floor that runs up to a raised stage, and the resident DJs alternate through the night with live singers and dancers. It opens at 9pm and runs to 4am every day, and tables are taken by phone. Note that the clubjalwa.com address carried on the Google listing belongs to the Pattaya club and describes that venue, not this one; the Bangkok branch publishes through its own Instagram account.
Close Friend, signed CF, is a DJ bar on the third floor of a building on Phahonyothin Road in Chan Kasem, and it is the most club-shaped room in the Ratchayothin cluster. The floor is built around a circular DJ booth clad in exposed aggregate with a curved LED screen wrapping the wall behind it, washed green, blue and magenta, and the crowd stands around the booth rather than sitting at tables. The review keywords are almost entirely about the DJ, and reviewers describe the room as mostly students; booths get busy enough that people report waiting for one. Drinks run to bottle service with mixers and ice buckets on low tables around the edge, and there is a short kitchen list alongside. The room is on the third floor of the Banpuen Ratchayothin building, and the venue's own Facebook page gives the door as eight in the evening onward without naming a closing time; Google lists it as open around the clock, which is the listing rather than a schedule. No weekly hours are recorded here until the closing time is confirmed.
Thachang is the loud, cheap end of the Avenue Ratchayothin block, a pub with the round ท่าช้าง logo burning on an LED wall behind the DJ and green lasers over a floor of long shared tables. Drinks arrive by the pitcher with a bowl of snacks, the bar runs a wall of bottles with several staff pouring at once, and reviewers are consistent about the trade-off: the music is good and the drinks are cheap, but on a busy night the queue outside can run for hours and people do get turned away. Thonglor's newest music bar, open since 4 September 2026 on the fourth floor of Market Place Thonglor. The venue runs a live band and a DJ every night it opens and describes its own music as deliberately varied rather than tied to one genre. The room is built around a stage, with seated tables and standing room around it, and you can start at the bar without booking a table. Drinks only, there is no kitchen. Eight signature cocktails run 380 to 440 baht and several of them come as a mocktail for 300. Tables run on a minimum spend, from 5,000 baht Sunday and Tuesday to Thursday and from 8,000 on Friday and Saturday, with VAT and service already included and a deposit that comes off the first bill; the standing zone at the bar has no minimum on those weeknights. The opening weekend ran The Parkinson by invitation on the 4th and WIM on the 5th, and the first AMBR. Day Session brought Jesse Barrera in for an afternoon show on 14 September. A club on the 5M floor of EmSphere, the Bangkok room of the 404 Club brand, which the venue says runs in more than 30 cities. The floor is built around a central DJ booth with the crowd packed against it on three sides and table seating stepped up behind, all lit red and washed with laser and strobe. It opens Thursday to Sunday from 9.30pm to 3.30am, so it is a late room rather than an early one, and tables and bottle service are booked ahead through the LINE account.
