Horn

Horn is a raw, bunker-style underground techno club on the 4th floor of Silom Soi 4, in the heart of Bangkok's gay nightlife strip. Opened in early 2025, it deliberately breaks from its glossier, more social neighbours with stripped-back concrete, low light and a cage-like industrial space closer to a Berlin basement than a typical Bangkok bar. A Martin Audio soundsystem drives hard, precise techno for an intimate capacity of roughly 60-80 people. The alternative queer scene has claimed it as home turf, and the programming reflects that with fetish and darkroom nights sitting alongside straight techno sets, all under a 'dress is participation, not decoration' ethos. Themed nights rotate through concepts like BUNKER for driving techno, BOUNCE for soulful house, LAB for experimental sessions, a Thursday Queer Dance Wave and a Sunday REBOUND afternoon session. It has already hosted heavyweight guests including Berghain/Ostgut Ton artists and a full collaboration with Berlin's fetish-techno party Gegen. This is a spot for those here for the beat and the underground energy, not a mainstream playlist.

Sathorn

Jam

Jam is a beloved underground creative space tucked down a small lane off Sathorn's Charoen Rat Road, describing itself as a local bar, underground music venue, emerging arts gallery and cine club all rolled into one. Repeatedly voted among Bangkok's best music venues, it helped transform a rundown corner of the city into a hub for the alternative art and music scene. The stage and floor welcome an eclectic program spanning experimental, folk, indie, house, drum and bass, downtempo and lo-fi hip-hop, alongside DJ sets and live bands. Beyond music, Jam regularly hosts street-art exhibitions, indie and arthouse film nights, open-mic sessions, karaoke and other offbeat events. The kitchen turns out home-cooked comfort food such as burgers, breakfast sets and fish and chips, while the bar pours beers, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks. The vibe is raw, bohemian and intimate, drawing a creative, culturally engaged crowd of artists, expats and music lovers. It sits a short walk from Surasak BTS (Exit 2) and opens evenings from Tuesday to Sunday.
