One Night in Phrom Phong: Three Routes, Three Very Different Nights

Thonglor is one road. Phrom Phong is three nightlife pockets inside roughly a kilometre, and they give you three completely different nights.

The mistake people make here is treating Phrom Phong as one destination and then walking twenty minutes between stops that were never meant to go together. Pick a pocket, commit to it, and the whole night happens inside a few hundred metres.

Here are the three routes, with times.

The big one: Soi 24

This is the loudest version of Phrom Phong and the one that runs latest.

19:30 - Yankii. Robatayaki upstairs, open karaoke downstairs. Start with food while the soi is still calm.

21:45 - 24 BLVD. Around 900 m down the soi. Several kitchens arranged around one copper bar, with live music on selected nights. This is the pivot point of the night.

00:00 - Upper House. One floor up inside 24 BLVD, so the last move of the night is literally a staircase.

One walk, then you stay put. Baccarat, House of Savoy and Madura are all close enough to swap in if the room you are in is not the room you wanted.

The easy one: EmSphere

The whole night in one building, which makes this the route to pick when the group is large, indecisive, or arriving from different parts of the city.

19:00 - dinner at EmSphere.

21:00 - Tribe Sky Beach Club on the fifth floor.

23:30 - Tictactoe, same floor, full club, no extra journey.

Dinner, rooftop and club without leaving the address. If you have ever lost half a group in a taxi convoy between stops, this is the fix.

The close one: Soi 33 and 31

The quietest of the three, and the best one for a night built around conversation and music rather than a dance floor.

19:00 - Sri Trat. Eastern Thai, Michelin Bib Gourmand.

21:00 - Alonetogether, 230 m away, live jazz from 9pm.

23:30 - PIN.BKK, six floors up in the same building.

Three stops, 230 metres of walking, and one lift for the rest of the night. No entry fee, no dress code, seven nights a week.

The bar that is not on any of these routes

The best bar in Phrom Phong sits outside all three pockets.

Bar Us is No. 6 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 and No. 15 on The World's 50 Best Bars 2025. It is 577 m from 24 BLVD in a straight line and 1.1 km on foot, because Soi 24 and Soi 26 never meet at the far end.

That gap is why people skip it on a Soi 24 night and then wonder why they never got there. Give it its own evening.

How to choose

Pick Soi 24 when you want the night to escalate and end late. Pick EmSphere when logistics matter more than novelty. Pick Soi 33 and 31 when you want to hear each other talk. Give Bar Us a separate evening rather than squeezing it into the end of another one.
