ECHO, Sukhumvit 49: Inside Bangkok's Cave-Like New Club

ECHO is one of Bangkok's newest nightlife openings, inside Town Hall on Sukhumvit 49.

It opened in July 2026, and the room is the reason to go before the lineup is.

The room

Sculpted sand-toned walls, flowing curves and a vaulted ceiling create an almost cave-like interior. Large-scale visuals and changing lighting transform the space after dark, so the room you walk into at 8pm is not the room you are standing in at 1am.

That matters more than it sounds. Most Bangkok clubs at this level are black boxes with good lighting rigs. ECHO built the shape of the room into the experience instead, which is why it photographs differently from everything else in the nightclubs directory.

The music

Hip-hop-led open format, moving through R&B and pop. Residents and guest DJs rotate through the week, with a new lineup posted regularly.

ECHO is not only about the DJ booth. Expect live singers and MCs, guest takeovers and occasional live performances. Recent appearances have included Ink Waruntorn with a full band and Pluma from Korea.

If you want a pure electronic room, this is not it. If you want a night where the music moves and something happens on a stage as well as in the booth, it is.

Sukhumvit 49 sits between Thonglor and Phrom Phong, which makes ECHO an easy late stop from either. Eat and drink in one of those areas, then move here after midnight rather than arriving at opening.
