A TikTok post this week alleged that a host bar in the Pinklao area forced a young woman to sign a 3,000 baht hair-sale contract before shaving her head as settlement for an unpaid drinks bill reported at close to 60,000 baht. The clip spread quickly and the story has drawn a lot of attention to how some host bars operate, particularly around debt collection practices and the pressure put on customers who cannot cover large tabs. Post Malone's Bangkok Show Is Postponed
Post Malone's September Bangkok concert has been pushed back, with refunds opening from August 29. Thailand is not the only market affected - shows across Asia and Oceania, as well as several festival appearances, have also been called off or rescheduled. No rescheduled date has been confirmed yet.
